We had the most fun at the beach yesterday with a bunch of our friends. Besides the kids' scheduled every-ten-minutes fights (of who got the bigger cheetoes, who got more juice, who threw the football at whose head, and getting sand in each others eyes- among other things)we did manage to have a great day.
We bbq'd, and played in the water. Then the guys played football in the sand. Then someone lost their wedding band. Its all fun and games until someone loses their inscribed one-of-kind-now-your-wife-is-going-to-kill-you wedding band. It finally turned up, thank goodness. Although, that would be a forgivable homicide, I think.
All in all a wonderful day.

oh yes, there was a full on washdown when we got home though...
sand...everywhere...yikes!
